Captivating sea mermaids of Greek mythology; the Sirens were known to have sung to mariners in attempts to lure them into the sea. And then Hans Christian Andersen and his pal Walt Disney came along and now we associate the elusive Siren with dancing crabs and a scary octopus.
Instead of dancing with sea creatures, La Sirena in Malahide will let you nibble on them instead: €18 for two starters and two main courses from the Early Bird menu (usual price €37.90).
Whilst you won't find some poached Ariel on the menu, there's plenty of other edibles to tickle your fancy - their signature nachos are infamously good along with the crab quesadilla, which comes complete with melted Monterey Jack cheese, flaked white crab and chile, Pico de Gallo, sour cream, onion relish and house salad, need we say any more?
The menu is packed full of such treats and seeing as La Sirena is conveniently located right on the seafront, your fish will be as fresh as if it had just jumped on to your plate itself.
The team at La Sirena have proud attention to detail and make all their salsas and tortilla chips in house to guarantee a top level of delicious quality for each and every diner. There's also a range of house cocktails if you feel like following your meal up with some drinks.
Get your Mexican-loving hands on today's deal and look forward to diving into some finger-lickingly good grub at this amazing Mexican restaurant.
